The Tech Stack
Alongside the familiar React, Redux and Vite foundation used across the company's UAE travel sites, this build brings in interactive mapping Leaflet and Google Maps plus support for multiple payment options, reflecting the extra UI complexity of a location-based booking flow compared to a standard product catalog.
That combination powers an interactive pickup and drop-off map for selecting transfer locations, with pricing calculated from the selected route a meaningfully different UI problem than a simple product catalog, and the reason this build carries more mapping and payment tooling than its sibling sites.
How It Was Built
The commerce layer follows the same headless Shopify pattern as Excursions Dubai and Safaris UAE, with WhatsApp wired in for both general enquiries and specific service lines like daily bookings versus airport transfers giving customers a quick way to confirm pickup details for a time-sensitive trip.
Outcome
The map-based pickup selection and route pricing make this one of the more technically involved builds in the portfolio solving a genuinely different problem, point-to-point transport, rather than reusing a product-catalog pattern wholesale.
